1) Clinical situation pre-op indicating the loss of bone and softtissue. 2) Three months before bone regeneration treatment a softtissue augmentation with a connective tissue graft was performed.
3) On the day of the second surgery, the peri-implantitis site shows a comfortable soft-tissue situation. 4) Intraoperative situation showing the defect. Bone decortication is performed in order to support bone regeneration.
5) Geistlich Bio-Gide® is trimmed to the defect size and placed over the defect. 6) Geistlich Bio-Oss® Collagen is soaked in saline and shaped to cover the defect.
7) Post-op CT showing the augmented area on the implant surface. 8) Clinical situation 4 months after surgery showing a stable situation.
