Clinical case description:

A 44 years old female patient had a vertical root fracture on #44. The premolar was extracted and the site was grafted using Geistlich Bio-Oss® Collagen and then covered with Geistlich Mucograft® Seal. After 4 months one implant was placed at the site and primary stability was noticed.

4 months after the implant placement a second stage surgery was performed and the implant was prosthetically restored with porcelain - fused - to metal crown. 2 years after final restoration beautiful keratinized tissue could be observed around the implant site.
